A Great Place to Learn and Play After School

Welcome to Welcome to T. Claude and Gladys B. Ryan Family YMCA’s after-school recreational program serving students from kindergarten to grade 5 at Barnard Mandarin Magnet Elementary School.

This program is an affordable way to ensure your child is in a safe, fun and caring environment after school. Each day includes a new program or activity to help participants learn, build life skills, and develop healthy relationships — including walking field trips, healthy snacks, sports and games, art and music, tutoring and more!

This is a recreational program operated by the YMCA and is license-exempt as defined by CA Department of Social Services Community Care Licensing Division, and CA Health & Safety Code. The program complies with all written requirements of privately operated recreation program as stated by these entities.the after-school program serving students from kindergarten to grade 5 at Barnard Mandarin Magnet Elementary School.

About Our Staff

All staff leaders are selected after a thorough interview and background check.

Fees for 2024-2025

Fees have been calculated based on an annualized rate of the total number of program days and divided into 10 equal monthly payments regardless of the number of school days per month of service. Fees cover all minimum days and parent/teacher conferences. Registration fee is $100 per child for participants, members can save up to 15% with select Y-Memberships.

Registration Details

This program is available only for students from Barnard Elementary in kindergarten to grade 5.

PRIORITY REGISTRATION

May 6, 2024 (For current participants and waitlist families)

OPEN REGISTRATION

Begins May 13, 2024

Registration fee is $100 per child for participants, members can save up to 15% with select Y-Memberships.

Please allow three business days for paperwork and tuition fees to be processed before services may begin.

All fees are due in advance of the month of care. Fees are paid by ATS (bank draft) on the 10th or by credit/debit card on the 15th. ATS are deducted monthly from your checking account.

If balances are not paid on time, your child may not participate in the program.
