Frequently Asked Questions
What makes Practicing Musician’s model different?
Students follow assigned short video tutorials during practice sessions, then receive weekly 10-minute personalized feedback from expert instructors. This model adds up to 60+ minutes of quality instruction each week — at a fraction of the typical cost.
How do Practicing Musician’s Private Lessons work?
- Our expert teachers guide your learning by assigning groups of 60-second online tutorials and exercises in our learning management system.
- You learn on your own time, watching each short tutorial every time you practice to ensure you develop the correct technique between lessons at no additional charge.
- Your teacher tracks your progress in our app so you can receive efficient feedback during your next private lesson; then the process repeats.
Do I need to be a YMCA member to register?
